Your utility will reward you for using less energy during times of peak gas demand by allowing small, temporary adjustments to your thermostat during peak gas demand.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.

Thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. By signing up with Washington Gas Smart Energy Rewards Program, you’ll receive additional rewards.
By enrolling your thermostat, you agree to let Washington Gas make brief, small adjustments to your thermostat during times of peak gas demand. You will receive a $20 Prepaid Mastercard once you have successfully enrolled in the program. If you remain on the program, you will receive an extra $10 Prepaid Mastercard after each annual heating season you are enrolled in.
