How It Works
If you are a Duke Energy Kentucky residential electric customer with a qualifying Wi-Fi-connected thermostat for cooling, you can receive a $75 bill credit for enrolling in the Power Manager® smart thermostat option. Plus, if you stay enrolled, you get an additional $25 bill credit each year. Let's work together to help shift energy use during peak demand times.
Help shift energy use
From May 1 through October 31, Duke Energy may occasionally adjust the temperature by no more than 4 degrees on the enrolled thermostat(s) in your home for less than four hours during periods of peak energy demand. Events will not occur on weekends or holidays, except in the event of a rare system emergency. You can opt out of peak energy events from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
