If you are a Colorado Springs Utilities residential or business customer and own a smart thermostat to control your central AC, you may be eligible to participate!
Earn up to $75
Colorado Springs Utilities will reward you for conserving energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your smart thermostat during peak energy demand.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
CHOOSE YOUR THERMOSTAT
Smart thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home or business’ energy use. And by signing up with our Peak Energy Rewards program, you’ll receive additional rewards. By enrolling your thermostat, you agree to let us make brief, small adjustments (no more than four degrees) to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand. You will receive a $50 bill credit once you have successfully enrolled in the program. As long as you participate in the program, you will receive an additional $25 bill credit at the end of each summer season*.
You may also be eligible for an additional $50 energy efficiency rebate from Colorado Springs Utilities when you purchase a smart thermostat. You’ll earn money and help us preserve natural resources, increase system reliability on hot summer days when our community’s energy use is at its highest and keep electric costs lower for everyone.
