CenterPoint Energy will reward you for conserving energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your smart thermostat during peak energy demand.

You can opt out of thermostat adjustments at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat.
CHOOSE YOUR THERMOSTAT
Connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your energy usage based on your routine. And by signing up with the Smart Cycle program, you’ll receive additional rewards.
By enrolling your thermostat in the Smart Cycle Bring Your Own Thermostat (BYOT program), you agree to let CenterPoint Energy make brief, limited adjustments to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand, and you receive $75 one-time bill credit. Plus, you will receive an additional $5 bill credit per device during the months of June through September for staying enrolled in the program.
