Cape Light Compact will reward you for conserving energy by making small, temporary adjustments to your smart thermostat during peak energy demand.

Connected thermostats make it easy and convenient to manage your home’s energy use. You can adjust your thermostat on the go, or simply set an automatic schedule that optimizes your energy usage based on your routine.
When you enroll in ConnectedSolutions, you can receive a $50 reward from Cape Light Compact when you enroll a qualifying thermostat that allows minor, short-term adjustments to reduce power use during periods of high electricity demand called peak energy events. By participating in peak energy events, you help save energy, reduce peak electricity demand, and help the environment. In most cases, you won’t notice the adjustments and you’ll always have ultimate control. Plus, for every year you stay enrolled, you will receive an additional $20 reward at the end of each summer.
