Indiana Michigan Power will automatically adjust the temperature in your home by a few degrees during an event when energy-demand is high. Peak Energy Use Events happen weekdays between May and September and typically last 2-3 hours. You can opt out of an event at any time from your mobile device, web browser or thermostat. However, you will not get the bill credits or energy savings.

Shifting energy use away from high-demand periods, allows us to rely on more renewable sources of energy during peak times. This helps keep prices more affordable for you and your community, plus helps the environment by reducing our carbon footprint.
